1. Name and job title

Molly Crowe, Outreach Coordinator

2. Background

I moved to York in 2018 to complete a BA (Hons) in History and an MA in Cultural Heritage Management, both at the University of York! In the past few years, I have worked a variety of jobs – from being in a museum to a gym! Recent opportunities through work and volunteering have made me passionate about engagement and making HE accessible to all.

3. What are you most looking forward to in this role?

I’m looking forward to visiting schools and delivering workshops, as well as the longer-term projects that allow you to get to know students and hopefully see the impact of Inspiring Choices!

4. What one piece of advice would you give to someone looking at their future education

Take the time to completely consider your options and what would be best suited to you – don't let anyone pressure you into a decision that won’t work with your interests and strengths. You should enjoy it!

5. What is your favourite film or book

My favourite book (at the moment!) is The Secret History by Donna Tartt – I love an unreliable narrator. My favourite film is Stardust ?

6. If you were an animal, what type of animal do you think you’d be

Maybe a cat – that sounds like a good life!
